Idris Elba Dives into Max Landis’s Underwater Creeper DEEPER
Idris Elba (The Dark Tower) has signed on to star as a disgraced astronaut-turned deep-sea trench explorer in Deeper, penned by Max Landis. He replaces previously attached leading man Bradley Cooper; the film will be directed by Baltasar Kormákur (who himself replaced White God director
Kornél Mundruczó ). MGM is producing.
Deeper is being described as a supernatural thriller and has drawn comparisons to The Abyss. Since this project is still in its infancy, it’ll be a while before we get production schedules, images, and/or footage, but we’ll be keeping Deeper on our radar as the film progresses. Stay tuned!
