SLIPKNOT’s Corey Taylor Entering Hip-Hop Arena with Kid Bookie Collaboration

Corey Taylor is, without a doubt, one of the hardest working musicians on the rock scene today. In addition to fronting both Slipknot and Stone Sour, he plays solo performances and is even pursuing a career in acting. But even with a full plate, Taylor is pushing envelopes and seizing new opportunities.

Late yesterday brought word that Taylor will officially be entering the hip-hop arena in a collaboration with East London MC Kid Bookie. Of course, this doesn’t come completely out of left field, as Taylor adds hip-hop flavor to quite a few Slipknot tracks. Still, we’re excited to see what he and Kid Bookie come up with. Of course, with a new Slipknot album expected to drop in June, this is really just the icing on the cake. Taylor and Slipknot are poised for a huge resurgence in popularity and “maggots” (aka Slipknot fans) are rabid with anticipation. We’ll keep you posted on that front as well.
