HAPPY DEATH DAY Gets Brilliant “Honest Trailer” Treatment
The folks a Screen Junkies have amassed legions of followers for their snarky yet spot-on assessments of today’s biggest genre offerings in the form of “Honest Trailers”. How many times have moviegoers felt misled by a promo that promises boatloads of excitement for a film that turns out to be extremely lackluster? The irony of “Honest Trailers” is that they arrive too late to give us a truly objective look at the films we spend our hard-earned dollars on.

Their latest subject (victim?) is 2017’s Happy Death Day, which is incredibly timely as the sequel, Happy Death Day 2U, is arriving in US theaters on February 13th. But if the folks at Blumhouse were worried the “Honest Trailer” for Happy Death Day might derail 2U before it even hit theaters, they can breathe a sigh of relief. Sure, the video is as snarky as they usually are, but this is as close to a rave review that I’ve seen! Too bad Halloween 2018 didn’t fare as well when they got the “Honest Trailer” treatment!

different versions of themselves. When Tree discovers that Carter’s roommate
has been altering time, she finds herself once again the target of a masked
killer. When the psychopath starts to go after her inner circle, Tree soon
