Prayers for OZZY Currently Hospitalized

All of us here at Dread Central want to send pioneering heavy metal vocalist Ozzy Osbourne our best well wishes following news the Black Sabbath frontman has been hospitalized following complications from a sever flu. Ozzy recently released a statement following his diagnosis, which forced him to cancel the European leg of his No More Tours 2 tour.

“I’m completely devastated for having to postpone the European leg of my tour. It just seems that since October everything I touch has turned to s—. First the staph infection in my thumb and now coming down with the flu and bronchitis.”

But now, The Blast is reporting that this recent hospitalization suggests a worrying escalation, as Ozzy initially planned to recuperate at home.

Sharon Osbourn confirmed the news yesterday in a tweet.

“As some of you may have heard, Ozzy was admitted to hospital following some complications from the flu. His doctors feel this is the best way to get him on a quicker road to recovery. Thanks to everyone for their concern and love.”

This is an evolving situation, but we’ll do the best to keep you notified on any additional Ozzy-related news.
