International Poster for PET SEMATARY is Ghastly and We Love It!

Expect our coverage of Pet Sematary to heat up as the latest cinematic adaptation of Stephen King’s bestselling novel marches towards its April 5th release date. The latest trailer for the movie (at the bottom of the article) revealed that directors Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer made a huge revision to the source material; specifically, Ellie (Jeté Laurence), not Gage, is the one who gets hit by a truck and subsequently re-animated.

Today, we’re getting a look at a new international poster for Pet Sematary, one that puts this twist on full display. Check out Ellie crawling out of “sour ground” below, followed by the synopsis and trailer.

Synopsis:
Dr. Louis Creed and his wife, Rachel, relocate from Boston to rural Maine with their two young children. The couple soon discover a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near their new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his neighbor Jud Crandall, setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unspeakable evil with horrific consequences.

In addition to Laurence, Pet Sematary stars Jason Clarke, John Lithgow, and Amy Seimetz.
