Here's a Web Series Guaranteed to Have You Scared StiffHorror is everywhere. You just have to know where to look. Thanks to the wonders of modern technology, we are no longer forced to wait for the big film companies to burp out a new horror offering for us (which more often than not is a big letdown). Simply by turning to the web, you can find web series created for the sole purpose of giving you nightmares. And we’ve recently discovered a great oneā€¦Scared Stiff.

Producer Douglas A. Plomitallo has been creating episodes of the Scared Stiff web series for the past three years and now has 25 released with more coming shortly. He recently sent a few episodes to the Dread Central offices for our perusal, and from what we’ve seen, he’s got a quality product.

The films are between 5 and 15 minutes long and have a great “Tales from the Crypt” feel to them with the real jerk-offs usually getting his or her comeuppance in the end. That’s the way we like it! Not to mention they’ve got a pretty kick-ass theme song, too!

We’ve included four episodes from the Scared Stiff series for you to enjoy. And believe me, gorehounds, I wouldn’t ask Uncle Creepy to post them if I didn’t think you’d dig ’em.

Below you’ll find Predator: The True Horrors of Halloween, the newest episode and favorite of producer Plomitallo; Closet Monster, which was selected by Hostel director Eli Roth to be a finalist at this year’s Universal Studio’s Halloween Horror Nights Film Competition; Tiny’s Halloween, an older episode that introduces us to the series’ franchise character; and The Confessional, a CGI/live action hybrid zombie film.

If you like these, there’s more where they came from. Head over to ScaredStiff.tv and tell ’em Doctor Gash sent ya! You’ll be glad you did.
