Festival Hit PIERCING Arrives on Blu-ray/DVD This March
Writer/director Nicolas Pesce first hit most horror fans’ radars following the release of his debut feature, The Eyes of My Mother, in 2016. It was a dark, arthouse-tinged exploration of maternity and grief that left audiences gasping. Pesce’s sophomore effort, Piercing, wrapped a successful festival circuit run in 2018 and will finally be available on Blu-ray/DVD beginning March 12th!
Having seen Piercing, I can attest to the fact that it’s amazing. I can also tell you it’s a complete one-eighty from The Eyes of My Mother. It’s got a bright color pallet, the actors speak English, and the story is as hilarious as it is subversive. If you liked The Eyes of My Mother, you’ll lovie Piercing. If you found it difficult to connect with The Eyes of My Mother, chances are, you’ll still like Piercing!
