VIZ Media Announces New Junji Ito Manga NO LONGER HUMAN!

Horror manga master Junji Ito will see a new title coming this Fall when Viz Media release No Longer Human! Based on the supposedly autobiographical work of literature from Osamu Dazai, the story delves into, “…the terror of the human psyche.”

“Plagued by a maddening anxiety, the terrible disconnect between his own concept of happiness and the joy of the rest of the world, Yozo Oba plays the clown in his dissolute life, holding up a mask for those around him as he spirals ever downward, locked arm-in-arm with death.“

No specific release date has been mentioned but we’ll be keeping a close eye on this one!

Junji Ito will also be making his first North American appearance at this year’s Toronto Comic Arts Festival. You can read more about that right here.
