(What’s Left of) The Abbott Family will Be Reunited in A QUIET PLACE 2
John Krasinski has been working on a script for A Quiet Place 2 for a number of months now, but he’s been cagey about the information he’s released. For starters, he talked about how the film won’t be a sequel in the traditional sense; he also balked when asked if he would be returning to the director’s chair for A Quiet Place 2.

Yesterday, we go confirmation that Krasinski will indeed direct A Quiet Place 2; today, THR is reporting that the entire Abbot family (what’s left of them, at least) will be reuniting in the sequel. It sure sound like a sequel in the traditional sense!
THE A QUIET PLACE FAMILY is getting back together. Emily Blunt and her onscreen children Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe are in talks to return, with John Krasinski back to direct. It was already known he was writing the sequel, which Paramount has dated for May 15, 2020.
