Gallery: New 3-Hour Version of NIGHTBREED: THE CABAL CUT Being Assembled With Never-Before-Seen Footage

Before Scream Factory released a director’s cut of Clive Barker’s Nightbreed, the artist/filmmaker was touring theaters with something called The Cabal Cut; it included almost an hour of extra footage culled from both materials cut from the final print as well as daily work tapes. Word recently came down from Barker’s camp that a new Cabal Cut is being assembled—and this one will be over three hours long!

You can follow the film’s progress at its official Twitter account, HERE. For the past few days, they’ve been releasing restored images from footage that’s never been seen by the public. Peruse the image gallery below for a look at what’s been released so far.

While we wait for release details, enjoy the trailer or synopsis for Night Breed: The Director’s Cut below.

Synopsis:
Aaron Boone (Craig Sheffer) is haunted by terrifying nightmares of a city of monsters. He goes to see a psychiatrist, Dr. Decker (David Cronenberg), for help. But what Boone doesn’t know is that Decker is really a serial killer. Decker frames Boone to take the fall for his murders, and Boone is killed by the police. But Boone is brought back to life by the monsters of his dreams, the Nightbreed, who in turn join Boone in his quest to stop Decker from killing again.
