No Shark-Themed Horror Movie This Summer? 47 METERS DOWN: UNCAGED Delayed
Shark-themed horror movies have become an annual tradition in recent years. We got The Shallows in 2016, 47 Meters Down in 2017, and The Meg in 2018. This summer, vacationers who prefer movie theaters to open water are looking forward to 47 Meters Down: Uncaged.

Hopefully, horror fans will still be interested in dipping their toes into shark-infested waters when the summer months begin to cool. Time will tell.
Synopsis:
The film will tell the story of fourteens
diving in a ruined underwater city, who quickly find themselves in a watery
hell as their adventure turns to horror when they learn they are not alone in
the submerged caves. As they swim deeper into the claustrophobic labyrinth of
caves they enter the territory of the deadliest shark species in the ocean.
Johannes Roberts returns to the director’s chair, bringing along the last film’s co-scribe Ernest Riera. 47 Meters Down: Uncaged stars Nia Long, John Corbett, and Sophie Nélisse.
