First Ever Kung Fu/Horror THE LEGEND OF THE 7 GOLDEN VAMPIRES Coming to Blu-ray via Scream Factory

There are some distributors who focus exclusively on reissues; other focus entirely on acquiring original modern content. The great thing about Scream Factory (the horror distribution arm of Shout! Factory) is that they cover both ends of the spectrum, delivering classic reissues with exclusive special features and films from today’s newest movers and shakers. They’re becoming a one-stop shop for just about anything horror related.

One of their next reissues is exciting for a few reasons. With a title like The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires, you know it’s something special. Then, discovering it’s an old Hammer film and the very first example of a Kung Fu/horror hybrid, and color me tantalized. Here are some details from Scream Factory’s recent announcement.

Black belt vs black magic. Scream Factory presents The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires on Blu-ra for the first time on April 9, 2019. Presented here for the first time in high definition is Hammer’s original uncut version.
