2 Extremely Tense Clips from Jordan Peele’s US Invade the Internet

Jordan Peele’s follow-up to his 2018 debut hit Get Out, Us, enjoyed its world premiere at the SXSW festival in Austin Texas last Thursday (and you can read Jonathan Barkan’s review, HERE). While the rest of us will have to wait another week to see it, the folks at Universal are keeping the momentum behind Us hot, releasing not one but two new clips from the film—and both are excruciatingly tense!

In the clip at the top of the article, we see Adelaide Wilson (played by Lupita Nyong’o) explaining her fear of coincidences and a mysterious “mirror girl” who’s been haunting her since she was a child. In the clip below, we see Gabe Willson (played by Winston Duke) confronting shadowy figures assembled at the top of his family’s driveway.

Give the trailer and synopsis for Us a spin below; look for the film in US theaters nationwide beginning March 21st.

Synopsis:
Accompanied by her husband, son and daughter, Adelaide Wilson returns to the beachfront home where she grew up as a child. Haunted by a traumatic experience from the past, Adelaide grows increasingly concerned that something bad is going to happen to her family. Her worst fears soon become a reality when four masked strangers descend upon the house, forcing the Wilsons into a fight for survival. When the masks come off, each stranger takes the appearance of a different family member.
