Trailer: Coolest High School Drama Class in the World Pulls Off Stage Production of ALIEN

In high school, no one can hear you scream.

Back in my day, any high school drama club that could pull off a decent rendition of Little Shop of Horrors was considered top-notch. Indeed, school plays are known for being large on heart, but small on creativity. But the kids at North Bergen High School in New Jersey have completely flipped the script and set the bar extremely high for anyone looking to make a serious splash on stage: They’ve produced a stage-version of Ridley Scott’s Alien!

Not only did they bring real horror/sci-fi to the normally puritanical halls of high school, North Bergen’s production of Alien looks fantastic! Twitter users Paul Owen and Andrew Fernandez shared a series of tweets that show images and footage from the show. Looks at these sets, these costumes, that Xenomorph, and the legitimate terror these kids elicit:

But wait, there’s more: They even made a trailer! Check it out embedded at the top of the article.

Coolest drama club in the world—period!
