DC Does Horror! 6-Issue DCeased Series Features Horror Movie Inspired Covers

Things are about to become a lot more horrifying in the DC Comics universe. Arriving this May, DCeased explores what happens when a computer virus makes the jump from technological to biological, turning those effected into flesh tearing zombies! Written by Tom Taylor, the 6-issue series will also feature horror movie inspired covers!

Taylor shared a few of the upcoming covers via Twitter. Check out mashups of Batman and A Nightmare on Elm Street, Superman and The Nun, and the Joker and IT below.

Synopsis:
A mysterious techno-virus has been released on Earth, infecting 600 million people and turning them instantly into violent, monstrous engines of destruction. The heroes of the DCU are caught completely unprepared for a pandemic of this magnitude and struggle to save their loved ones first… but what happens to the World’s Greatest Heroes if the world ends?

The first issue of DCeased hits retailers on May 1st!
