Sarah Paulson Knows Almost Nothing About AMERICAN HORROR STORY: 1984
The 9th season of the anthology series launched by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuck in 2001 will have a slasher theme. If history is any indication, we’ll be seeing American Horror Story: 1984 sometime this fall. We already reported that series mainstay Evan Peters is sitting out this season for the first time ever, but Sarah Paulson (who has also been a part6 of every season so far) will definitely be returning–maybe.

The folks at Syfy recently grilled Paulson in advance of Glass‘s release on Blu-ray/DVD, but the topic of American Horror Story Season 9 was broached. Unfortunately, the actress knows precious little about what fans can look forward to. Here’s what she told the site when asked about the new season’s plot points:
“I don’t really know the answer to that. I think… all I can say is I know the least about this season upcoming that I’ve known about any season. I don’t even know…yeah, that’s all I can say,” Paulson says. “I think that’s all I can say. Usually, I have more information at this point, and I’m bugging Ryan with questions. Right now, I don’t have a lot and yeah, I’m so busy with Ratched, it’s hard for me to think about anything beyond that.”
As long as the next season delivers a slasher theme, I think most horror fans will be happy. Time will tell!
