Logo and 1st Art Revealed for THE CONJURING 3

The Conjuring franchise launched by James Wan in 2013 is unique in that it has more spinoffs than namesakes. To date, we’ve had two Conjuring movies, but we’ve also gotten The Nun and The Curse of La Llorona plus two Annabelle movies with a third, Annabelle Comes Home, creeping into US theaters on June 28th.

But that will change in July 2020 when a 3rd Conjuring movie hits silver screens. We don’t know much about the film in terms of a plotline, but it’s been suggested that there will be a courtroom element. We know that it will reunite franchise staples Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as Ed and Lorraine Warren respectively. For the first time, however, Wan will be passing the director duties to someone new: Michael Chaves.

Yesterday afternoon, we got our first look at the new logo and first artwork for The Conjuring 3. It doesn’t include a tagline, but there’s enough imagery to begin hypothesizing about what’s in store for Conjuring fans in 2020. Check it out:

Now it’s time to start theorizing, so what do you think horror fans? What can we deduce from the logo and initial artwork for The Conjuring 3? Let us know what you think in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram!
