Like Duh! Rob Zombie’s THREE FROM HELL is Rated R for Sex, Drugs, and Extreme Depravity
Rob Zombie’s sequel to The Devil’s Rejects, Three From Hell, has been slapped by the MPAA with an R rating for “strong sadistic violence, language throughout, sexual content, graphic nudity, and drug use.” If any of this surprises you, you’ve obviously never seen a Rob Zombie movie. Those of us who are familiar with the shock-rocker-turned-filmmaker’s catalog, it sounds like Zombie is maintaining the no-holds-barred style that’s become his signature.
We still don’t have a trailer or release date for Three From Hell, but the fact that it’s passed through the halls of the MPAA is a good sign; it proves that everything is moving forward, as Zombie has been assuring us–for months!

In addition to reuniting the Firefly clan (Bill Moseley, Sheri Moon Zombie, and Sid Haig) Three From Hell will feature, Emilio Rivera, Danny Trejo, Kevin Jackson, Wade Williams, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Pancho Moler, Daniel Roebuck, David Ury, Sean Whalen, Austin Stoker, Dee Wallace, Richard Brake, Bill Oberst Jr., Dot-Marie Jones, and Tom Papa.
