Saban Films Snags I SEE YOU Out of SXSW 2019; Theatrical Release TBD

Having your movie screened at the annual South by Southwest Festival (SXSW) doesn’t guarantee it’ll be picked up distribution, but it certainly increases your chances! Case in point: Saban Films has just snagged I See You, which screened at the most recent fest last March. The film is directed by Adam Randall and stars Helen Hunt.
Synopsis:
I See You takes place in a seemingly perfect town filled with perfect families, until 12-year-old Justin Whitter goes missing. Greg Harper, lead investigator, struggles to balance the pressures of the case while finding a way to forgive his well-heeled wife, Jackie (Hunt), for a recent infidelity. When a malicious presence manifests itself and puts their young son in mortal danger, the cold, hard truth about evil in the Harper household is finally uncovered.
Randall directed I See You from a screenplay penned by Devon Graye; in addition to Hunt, the film stars Jon Tenney, Judah Lewis, and Owen Teague.
We don’t have a trailer or target release date at this time, but we know that Saban is planning a limited theatrical release for I See You in advance of a digital/DVD release. We’ll keep you posted.
