Young Supervillain Learns He’s Indestructible in Latest Clip from R-Rated BRIGHTBURN

The premise of Brightburn, produced by James Gunn, seems pretty straight forward: What if Superman was a bad guy? What if, instead of choosing a path of righteousness, a young Kryptonian had decided to go in another direction? Things could get messy, to say the least!

In the clip embedded at the top of the article, the subject of Brightburn discovers his indestructibility. While we’ve seen short shots from this scene before, this one is extended and has and has sinister undertones. It sounds like this youngster has a head full of voices–and some don’t sound especially friendly!

David Yarovesky directed Brightburn from a screenplay penned by Brian Gunn and Mark Gunn; the film stars Elizabeth Banks, David Denman, and Matt Jones. Look for Brightburn to crash into US theaters beginning May 24th.
