Tribeca Hit COME TO DADDY Scores Distribution from Saban
Last month, Turbo Kid producer Ant Timpson made his directorial debut at the Tribeca Film Festival with Come to Daddy, starring Elijah Wood. It was a huge hit and, today, we’re thrilled to announce that the film has snagged distribution via Saban Films.
Saban Films’ Bill Bromiley commented, “Come to Daddy’s horror and comedy mix is perfectly balanced and creates a wonderfully wild atmosphere that’ll keep audiences guessing – all the way through.”
We don’t have a distribution date at this time, but we’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, check out the film’s synopsis and trailer below.
Synopsis:
Norval Greenwood, a privileged man-child arrives at the beautiful and remote coastal cabin of his estranged father. He quickly discovers that not only is dad a jerk, but he also has a shady past that is rushing to catch up with both of them. Now, hundreds of miles from his cushy comfort zone, Norval must battle with demons both real and perceived in order to reconnect with a father he barely knows.
In addition to Wood, Come to Daddy stars Stephen McHattie and Ona Grauer; Toby Harvard penned the screenplay from Timpson’s original concept.
