Friday. We just have to make it to Friday for Godzilla: King of the Monsters to stomp its way into theaters. Just a couple more days and we’ll see devastation on a global level, monsters towering over humanity, and hopefully our first real glimpse of King Kong prior to the duo squaring off in Kong vs. Godzilla.

While there’s a lot to look forward to, there’s just as much to enjoy that went into the making of this latest title. Below is a gallery of concept art for Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Beautifully painted, these images capture the scale of the monsters as well as the havoc they will cause.

Directed by Trick ‘r Treat and Krampus‘ Michael Dougherty, who co-wrote the film with Zach Shields, Godzilla: King of the Monsters stars Vera Farmiga, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins, Kyle Chandler, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Thomas Middleditch, Charles Dance, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Aisha Hinds, and Zhang Ziyi.
