35th Anniversary GHOSTBUSTERS Original Motion Picture Score Available on CD & Digital June 7th
To commemorate the 35th Anniversary of the seminal horror comedy Ghostbusters, Sony Music is releasing the original motion picture score on CD and digital formats beginning June 7th. Vinyl will be available beginning July 19th. You can pre-order your copy now, HERE. The reissue will include previously unreleased tracks and an essay by composer Elmer Bernstein’s son, Peter Bernstein.
Of the 35th anniversary edition, Peter Bernstein says of his late father:
“As one of the original orchestrators on Ghostbusters, it has been very satisfying and also very moving to work on this soundtrack release 35 years down the road. It is a great movie with great music and we had a whole lot of fun creating it. I am very pleased to see it released in its original form.”
