Life has a funny way of turning things around. For the last few days I’ve been getting chastised for thinking that The Devil Inside was a decent little flick. Everywhere I turn I’ve been getting browbeaten. That’s okay though. I have no problem taking my lumps and I stand by my words no matter what. Still, it’s been kind of taxing, but then … then I see a DVD cover that just brings a smile back to my face.

As reported earlier by my esteemed colleague The Foywonder, the insipid shitfest known as Creature, a film which is completely devoid of any redeeming qualities whatsoever and is widely consider as one of the most ill-conceived and costly mistakes in film distribution history, is hitting DVD on March 20th courtesy of Arc Entertainment. Check out the cover art below while I pour myself a glass of fine scotch and offer a toast to everyone who’s ever liked a crappy movie.

Special features, if any, are to be announced!

Synopsis:
An ex-Navy seal, Niles (Mehcad Brooks, “True Blood”), his girlfriend, Emily (Serinda Swan, Tron), and their friends head out on a road trip to New Orleans. When the group decides to stop at a roadside convenience store owned by Chopper (Sid Haig, The Devil’s Rejects), they are introduced to the legend of Lockjaw, a creature who is part man, part alligator. The legend has it that an inbred local man by the name of Grimley (Daniel Bernhardt, The Matrix: Reloaded) lost his family to a monstrous white alligator and because of the devastating loss of his family was driven to madness and was transformed into the Creature. Their curiosity piqued, the group decides to head deeper into the swamps to check out the birthplace of this Creature legend. As they journey further into the backwoods, the group arrives at an old dilapidated cabin and decide to camp there for the night and inadvertently unleash the Creature, who terrorizes the group.
