F*** Your Potatoe Head! Latest CHILD’S PLAY Poster Takes Another Stab at TOY STORY
Two movies about toys that walk, talk, and think are hitting theaters simultaneously on June 21st. And while they have striking practical similarities, the two films couldn’t be more different. One is a sweet tale about youth and the other is a terrifying nightmare. I’m talking about Toy Story 4 and Orion’s Child’s Play.
The marketing team behind Child’s Play has been playing up this juxtaposition for a while, releasing posters that make short work of Woody, Buzz, and that Slinky dog (whatever its name is). Today, a new poster hit the internet; in this one, Chucky takes a swipe at Mr. Potatoe Head. Give it a look see below, followed by the film’s synopsis and trailer.
Synopsis:
A mother gives her son a toy doll for his birthday, unaware of it’s more sinister nature.

Child’s Play is directed by Lars Klevberg from a screenplay penned by Tyler Burton Smith; in addition to Hamill the film stars, Aubrey Plaza, Tim Matheson, and Brian Tyree Henry. It’s a complete reboot (computer pun apropos) of 1988’s Child’s Play, directed by Tom Holland and written by Don Mancini.
