The Evils of Technology Explored in Latest Featurette for CHILD’S PLAY
Are we on the verge of leaving our children alone with the likes of Alexa and Siri? The subtext in Orion’s Child’s Play remake suggests we are. In the latest featurette for the film, embedded at the top of the article, cast members discuss the ways technology may be an evil specter on our horizon.

Synopsis:
A mother gives her son a toy doll for his birthday, unaware of it’s more sinister nature.

Child’s Play is directed by Lars Klevberg from a screenplay penned by Tyler Burton Smith; in addition to Hamill the film stars, Aubrey Plaza, Tim Matheson, and Brian Tyree Henry. It’s a complete reboot (computer pun apropos) of 1988’s Child’s Play, directed by Tom Holland and written by Don Mancini.
