My Name is Bruce Headed Home?
Well it’s a minor update, but since My Name is Bruce is one of my must-see movies of 2007 (maybe 2008 if they don’t hurry up), it’s worth mentioning.
First off, My Name is Bruce writer Mark Verheiden updated his official blog the other day with the good news that Joe LoDucca of Evil Dead 2 fame is working on the score for the film, which Verheiden calls “pitch perfect”. He doesn’t mention release plans but does say that the film won’t be out until it’s ready.
A quick jump over to director/star Bruce Campbell’s site, however, shows a slight update on the release plans; namely that it’s looking at a DVD release this fall. Image Entertainment will be behind said release but there’s nothing on their official site about it yet, so a digging we shall go to see what we can find.
Perhaps Bruce will take it on the road with him they way he did with Bubba Ho-Tep back in the day? One can hope!
