Blum Wants David Gordon Green Back in the Director’s Chair for Sequel to HALLOWEEN 2018
We know for a fact that Jason Blum and Blumhouse Pictures are working on a sequel to 2018’s Halloween, but who is going to be helming the project? When one of Blum’s Twitter followers asked if David Gordon Green, who directed 2018’s Halloween, would be back for the sequel, his response was terse yet positive:
“I hope so.”

Synopsis:
It’s been 40 years since Laurie Strode survived a vicious attack from crazed killer Michael Myers on Halloween night. Locked up in an institution, Myers manages to escape when his bus transfer goes horribly wrong. Laurie now faces a terrifying showdown when the masked madman returns to Haddonfield, Ill. — but this time, she’s ready for him.
Green directed Halloween from a screenplay he wrote with Danny McBride. In addition to Curtis, the film starred Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, and Nick Castle.
