MORTAL KOMBAT Writer Confirms R-Rating Goal And Fatalities
Get ready for some serious gore!
Mortal Kombat writer Greg Russo has taken to Twitter to confirm that the upcoming game-to-film adaptation is aiming for an R-rating and will feature fatalities, the extra gory finishing moves that usually see opponents dismembered, flayed, burned alive, dissolved in acid, dropped on spikes, and so, SO much more. It’s basically an excuse for the developers to have as much of a vicious blast as they want!
Since it's already been stated by other members of the team, I'm gonna put this one to bed. MK WILL be R-Rated and for the first time EVER, FATALITIES will FINALLY be on the big screen (and no I'm not gonna say which ones) You'll just have to wait for the movie & see!!! đŸ˜‰ pic.twitter.com/aVTewH4t28
