March 20th is the first day of spring. What better day to release a movie called Snow White: A Deadly Summer? Yep, there’s yet another Snow White movie. That brings the tally to two upcoming theatrical Snow White movies and now two direct-to-DVD Snow White flicks, and that’s in addition to Snow White being an integral character on ABC’s “Once Upon a Time”. Fairest-of-them-all Mania is sweeping Hollywood.

Lionsgate Home Entertainment is set to release this terrifying spin on the Snow White fairy tale from prolific b-movie director David DeCoteau starring Shanley Caswell (Joseph Kahn’s Detention), Maureen McCormick (aka Marcia of “The Brady Bunch”), and the living legend Eric Roberts on March 20th. The only disc extra will be a stills gallery.

Devastated by her father’s remarriage, Snow (Shanley Caswell) begins to act out toward her new stepmother (Maureen McCormick). Given an ultimatum by his new wife, Snow’s father (Eric Roberts) sends his daughter off to a summer camp, unaware of its dark past. Snow soon learns that the camp was the site of a murder several years ago and that the suspect fled into the woods, never to be seen again. Not long into her deadly summer, campers begin dying off and Snow feels as though a killer is watching her.

As you will see in the trailer before, despite being a David DeCoteau flick, this Snow White will not have her encountering seven dwarves that turn out to be shirtless hunks that like to rub themselves in slow motion for minutes at a time.
