No, we are not talking about that funny video of a very young Vin Diesel break dancing (although we will include it here for shits and giggles). We’re talking casting news, kids! Time to see who else will be going head-to-head with your friendly neighborhood Furian.
According to Variety, Nolan Funk (pictured right; Evidence, House at the End of the Street, Deadgirl) is set to star alongside Vin Diesel in the next installment of the Riddick franchise. David Twohy wrote the script and is back to direct. Katee Sackhoff and Jordi Molla are also in talks to star.
Production on the second sequel recently resumed after a two-month hiatus while the producers finalized financing. Plot details are being kept under wraps. Diesel, Ted Field, Amy Halvorsen, and Scott Kroopf are producing.

Synopsis
Betrayed by his own kind and left for dead on a desolate planet, Riddick (Diesel) fights for survival against alien predators and becomes more powerful and dangerous than ever before. Soon bounty hunters from throughout the galaxy descend on Riddick only to find themselves pawns in his greater scheme for revenge. With his enemies right where he wants them, Riddick unleashes a vicious attack of vengeance before returning to his home planet of Furya to save it from destruction.
