Will Tommy Doyle Return for HALLOWEEN KILLS?
Will Tommy Doyle, one of the kids Laurie Strode babysat in 1979’s Halloween, be returning in the franchise’s next installment? That’s the rumor, revealed by Jeff Sneider and Variety’s Justin Kroll on The Sneider Cut.
The character was already reprised by Paul Rudd in Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers. But don’t count on Rudd to return, for a number of reasons. First of all, 2018’s Halloween redacted all of the sequels to John Carpenter’s original, so the continuity has already been erased. More importantly, Sneider and Kroll have both heard that Blumhouse offered the role to Rudd, but the actor turned them down, as he is already committed to the new Ghostbusters film (currently in production). Still, anything can happen.
