Trailer: “Gore Cut” of TAMMY AND THE T-REX Coming to Blu-ray

Last June, a newly restored, uncut version of Tammy and the T-Rex (directed by Stewart Raffill and released in 1994) played as part of Cinepocalypse in Chicago. Those of us unable to attend will finally get to see the “Gore Cut” when it’s released by Vinegar Syndrom this November. Give the new trailer a spin at the top of the article!

Originally released in 1994, Tammy and the T-Rex was rated PG-13. It was only recently that the R-rated “Gore Cut” was discovered, and its presentation at Cinepocalypse was its world premiere.

Synopsis:
An evil scientist implants the brain of Michael, a murdered high school student, into a Tyrannosaurus. He escapes, wreaks vengeance on his high school tormentors and is reunited with his sweetheart Tammy.

Tammy and the T-Rex is directed by Stewart Raffill who co-wrote the screenplay with Gary Brockette; the film stars Denise Richards, Theo Forsett, and the late Paul Walker. In addition to the Blu-ray, Tammy and the T-Rex the “Gore Cut” will screen later this month at FrightFest. A theatrical re-release is also in the works.
