A Pair of New Walking Dead Images Take Aim; Shane’s a Goner?

The days are ticking away until “The Walking Dead” returns to AMC’s airwaves, and to keep you geared up and salivating, we’ve scored a couple of new images for you to chew on. Plus a major spoiler may just have inadvertently been revealed!

According to Variety “The Walking Dead” star Jon Bernthal, who plays Shane, is in early conversations with TNT to star in its period drama pilot “L.A. Noir,” shepherded by Frank Darabont. If signed, it could mean that Shane will be getting offed on the zombierific show, just like the character in the comics! It’s unlikely that he’d do both as the “L.A. Noir” role he’s in negotiations for is a lead. Stay tuned.
