Trailer: THE DRONE Gets Naughty in Satirical Techno-Horror

Plenty of horror movies explore the terror of technology run amuck, but few do it with as many tounges in their cheek as The Drone, directed by Jordan Rubin. Look for it on DVD, Digital, and On Demand beginning October 15th from Lionsgate. Check out the trailer at the top of the article and the synopsis below.

Synopsis:
This terrifying, outrageous tale takes flight as a serial killer is struck by lightning while holding his precious drone. Weeks later, the drone shows up at the home of newlywed couple Chris and Rachel. Without them realizing it, the drone films the couple and takes control of their TV, computer, security system, and car. Soon Chris and Rachel fear that the device may be connected to them… and is out for horrific, hovering revenge.

Rubin directs The Drone from a screenplay penned by Al and Jon Kaplan; the film stars John Brotherton (The Conjuring), Alex Essoe (Starry Eyes), and Rex Linn.
