Producers Considered Turning IT: CHAPTER TWO into 2 Movies
IT: Chapter Two is floating into theaters today, bringing the saga launched by Andy Muschietti in 2017 to an end. But, for a time, producers considered making two more movies. It makes sense, considering the source material (Stephen King’s novel) is a nearly 1,000-page tome! Here’s what Barbara Muschietti told our friends at io9:
“We flirted with making two more films. Then it was decided that we would only make one film but clearly there was a lot of material that Andy and our writers had to adapt.”

Synopsis:
