Exclusive: FANGORIA’s OUR LADY OF THE INFERNO Audiobook Locks Horror Icons Doug Bradley And Mick Garris
Great news for those who love audiobooks as we can exclusively announce that Hellraiser‘s Doug Bradley and The Stand‘s Mick Garris have signed on for roles in audio adaptation of Preston Fassel’s Our Lady of the Inferno! Bradley will be voicing The Colonel while Garris will be the voice of Nicolette’s boss. The two join Barbara Crampton, Desi Williams, Autumn Ivy, and Mchaji Celestaine.
“The Hellraiser franchise is one of my favorites, and I’ve always thought that Doug brought this elegant, majestic menace to the role of Pinhead” says Fassel, who is serving as a producer on the project. “For as uncomplicated as The Colonel seems on the surface, there are all these layers of evil to him that make it the perfect role for Doug. And with Mick doing so much work with FANGORIA now, it only made sense to bring him on board. He’s got such this approachable personality, and such this range of knowledge, and that’s exactly Nicolette’s boss.”
In Our Lady of the Inferno, we follow, “…the story of the confrontation between a brilliant but troubled prostitute and a female serial killer in 1980s Manhattan.”
The adaptation of Fassel’s book is being handled by Encyclopocalypse Publications – which is headed by the Rondo and Saturn award-winning producer Mark Miller – who signed a deal with FANGORIA to produce a fully-cast audiobook.
A release date has not yet been set.
