It should be no surprise to anyone that Jessica Lange took home the “Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series” SAG Award last night for her exceptional performance as Constance in FX’s “American Horror Story”. Here’s hoping she’ll be back next season!
On the other hand, the biggest shocker of the night to us was Bryan Cranston’s (“Breaking Bad”) loss to Steve Buscemi (“Boardwalk Empire”). Oh, well. We’re sure Mr. White will get his revenge soon!
As for the rest of the winners, only two are the least bit genre-related:
Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2
Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series: “Game of Thrones”
