The Official U.S. Trailer Arrives for Journey 2: The Mysterious Island

Another trailer has surfaced for director Brad Peyton’s Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, and while the horror elements are probably going to be miniscule, we love The Rock so much we just can’t ignore this flick!

Synopsis:
Sean Anderson (The Hunger Games‘ Josh Hutcherson) partners with his mom’s boyfriend (Dwayne Johnson) on a mission to find his grandfather (Michael Caine), who is thought to be missing on a mythical island. Also starring Kristin Davis, Vanessa Hudgens, Anna Colwell, and Luis Guzmán.

As Foy noted when first reporting on this film: “Having wasted money on the original Journey, I can safely say this sequel from the director of Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore and the writers of Bring It On looks to be a potentially better film if for no other reasons than the lack of Brendan Fraser being in it to shout every single line of dialogue and The Rock replacing his patented People’s Eyebrow with his newly minted Pec Pop of Love™.”

All I know is that when two young preteen girls walked past the poster hanging in the theatre I saw The Grey in this past weekend, one turned to the other and said, “Isn’t that the High School Musical chick? We are so there!” Will you join them on release day, February 10th?
