The crazy Brits on the Bloody Cuts film team are at it again. They have just announced that their newest short film, the fourth of 13 planned segments, will be filmed in February and released in March. We’ve got a short teaser trailer to give you a taste of… Mother Died.

It wasn’t enough that they scared the shit out of us with the creepy monster in the office in Lock Up, an insane killer clown in Stitches and a nightmare one-night stand in Prey, they now have to bring moms into it? Is nothing sacred? I guess not. Mother Died was written and will be directed by BAFTA and RTS award winner Neill Gorton. Check out the teaser below, and see all the previous films at BloodyCuts.co.uk.

From the Press Release
Mother Died is a chilling tale of fear, family and a young woman’s survival. “When Neill (Gorton) handed us the script for Mother Died, we knew it had to be the next episode in the series,” says producer Ben Franklin. “It’s a slight departure for us but firmly grounded in horror due to the terrifying scenario the film is based around.”

Neill Gorton is the co-director of Millennium FX, Europe’s leading suppliers of visual makeup effects and prosthetics to the film and TV industry, and has worked on projects from Saving Private Ryan to “Doctor Who.” The sponsorship of Millennium FX has been a vital part of Bloody Cuts, providing us with the masterful creations seen in Stitches and Prey. We’re very excited to have him behind the camera as our first guest director.

Mother Died is the first film partly funded by our IndieGoGo campaign so if you contributed you’ll be named in the credits!
