Director Joe Raffa, who burst on the scene with the buzz behind his upcoming film 6 Degrees of Hell starring Corey Feldman, now has another film grabbing distribution. Raffa’s first picture, You’ll Know My Name, was picked up for domestic and foreign distribution by Breaking Glass Entertainment of Philadelphia. That’s two features for Raffa by age 21. Not bad.
You’ll Know My Name is a tale of violence and aggression set in New Jersey … and thankfully it doesn’t contain any footage of Snooki getting popped in the mouth. Brought to us by Brothers in Arms Productions, the film stars Raffa with Mianna Saxton, Alexander Mandell, Brian Gallagher, David J. Bonner, Chuck Connors, Tommy J. Stzubinski, Davy Raphaely and Nicole Cinaglia
Raffa’s second feature, the Corey Feldman horror flick 6 Degrees of Hell, was shot in August of last year and is finishing post-production with a planned 2012 release.
You’ll Know My Name Synopsis
The American Western gets updated in Joe Raffa’s hard hitting commentary on a lost generation caught in the decaying American Dream. Nick is one of many teens roaming the wasteland of southern New Jersey. Over the course of a single evening, he sets himself on a collision course for Mike Santo, folk hero to some, psychopathic tyrant to most.
At the center of the coming showdown between Nick and Mike is Christina, the final point in a deadly triangulation. As important as it is thrilling, You’ll Know My Name is a message to an angry, entitled generation that has lost touch.
