COUNTDOWN Trailer Tick Tocks Until Your Death
Hear me out: what if Final Destination and The Frighteners had a cinematic baby? That’s the feeling I’m getting when I watch the trailer for STX Entertainment’s upcoming horror film Countdown. The movie follows a group of people who are marked for death when they download an app that predicts the exact moment of their death. Together, they must try and find a way to make it even one second past their supposed mortality limit and it seems like a supernatural entity isn’t going to make that easy for them.
“When a young nurse downloads an app that claims to predict exactly when a person is going to die, it tells her she only has three days to live. With time ticking away and death closing in, she must find a way to save her life before time runs out.“
Written and directed by Justin Dec, Countdown stars Elizabeth Lail, Jordan Calloway, Talitha Bateman, Tichina Arnold, P.J. Byrne, and Peter Facinelli.
The film comes out on October 25, 2019.
