Trailer: Get Ready for Some “Cage Rage” When PRIMAL Arrives in Theaters This November
With Mandy earning massive accolades in 2018 and Color Out of Space tearing up the indie film festival circuit in 2019, we’re definitely in the midst of a Nicholas Cage Renaissance. Expect more classic “Cage Rage” in his next film, Primal, arriving in select US theaters and On Demand November 8th via Lionsgate.
Give the trailer a spin embedded at the top of the article and read the synopsis below.
Synopsis:
When Frank Walsh (Nicolas Cage), a hunter and collector of rare and exotic animals, bags a priceless white jaguar for a zoo, he figures it’ll be smooth sailing to a big payday. But the ship bearing Frank’s precious cargo has two predators caged in its hold: the cat, and a political assassin being extradited to the U.S. After the assassin breaks free – and then frees the jaguar – Frank feverishly stalks the ship’s cramped corridors in hot pursuit of his prey, right up until the thrilling, unpredictable climax.
Primal is directed by Nick Powell from a screenplay penned by Richard Leder; in addition to Cage, the film stars Famke Janssen, Kevin Durand, LaMonica Garrett, and Michael Imperioli.
