6 Days, 6 Hours, 6 Minutes: Make a Film and Win $666 at SHOCKFEST

6 Days.
6 Hours.
6 Minutes.
Make a film and win $666 Dollars!

That’s how much time you have to complete a :60 second commercial in the Mockfest Film Fight, taking place at Shockfest Film Festival November 22nd – 24th in Las Vegas, NV.  The start of this unique opportunity for filmmakers of all levels of experience and backgrounds will be Sunday, November 10, 2019 at 12:00 pm, at which point, the three requirements will be revealed: PERSON, PLACE, THING.

The competition will go for 6 days, 6 hours, and 6 minutes, and precisely on Saturday at 6:06 pm on November 16th, 2019, the competition is over, but the best part has yet to begin.

All submissions will be screened at Shockfest Film Festival in Las Vegas, where the winners will be announced live at the festival.

What are the official prizes for this devilish competition?  What else but $666!  Additionally, Film Fight submissions will be screened in 2020 in New York City at the Morris-Jumel Mansion, the oldest building in all of Manhattan in February and at Hollywood California’s Paramount Studios in June.

If an opportunity to win money and multiple screenings in the two biggest media capitols of the United States isn’t enough incentive to take part in this unique competition, submissions will be considered for inclusion in Shockfest Horror Factory’s newest addition of the Terror Tales anthology based horror franchise, distributed on Amazon Prime.

Entry fees for this competition begin at $25 for the month of October and increase to $50 November 1st for the late deadline, so now is the time to register for this unique experience.  But if you are a film student and are currently enrolled in the film department of UNLV in Las Vegas, you are in luck, because UNLV students will receive an exclusive 50% discount code for submitting their work into this exciting competition.

So, for the price of a sushi roll, film students will receive three screenings in three major cities, the opportunity to win $666, and have their work officially included as part of a feature film to be released on Amazon Prime.  Check out www.shockfilmfest.com for further updates and like their Facebook page to remain up to date on what else is taking place at Shockfest 2019: https://www.facebook.com/shockfesthorrorfactory/
