Fred Dekker Wants to Make NIGHT OF THE CREEPS 2 with the Original Cast!

Night of the Creeps (1986) is a much-loved cult classic; one of Fred Dekker’s first hits, its influence can still be found in today’s modern horror offerings. It was ahead of its time, blending zombie and sci-fi tropes decades before the combination became vogue.

Our friends at Arrow in the Head just landed one hell of an exclusive. Apparently, Dekker is hoping to make Night of the Creeps 2–and he wants to reunite the original cast! The information was relayed by Night of the Creeps star Tom Atkins.

Specifically, Atkins revealed:

“I would like to see Detective Ray Cameron become resurrected somehow. And Fred Dekker and I, every time we see each other, we talk about that. And he’s determined to do a sequel [to Night of the Creeps] with the three kids and myself. I mean they’re no longer kids, they’re all in their 50’s, but they’re all still kicking and healthy and looking good. I would love to do that again. I love Detective Ray Cameron.”

If you’ve never experienced Night of the Creeps for yourself, check out the synopsis and trailer below.

Synopsis:
Alien brain parasites, entering humans through the mouth, turn their host into a killing zombie. Some teenagers start to fight against them.
