Monsters Visit A Therapist In IMDb’s Animated Series YOU’RE NOT A MONSTER

With Halloween just a few days away, now would be the perfect time to binge-watch the first season of You’re Not a Monster, IMDb’s first original scripted series. All twelve episodes of the short-form animated show are available to watch for free on IMDb’s official YouTube channel, and we highly recommend you give it a go.

You’re Not a Monster deals with a therapist named Max, whose patients include some very famous monsters from the history of the horror genre, including vampires, zombies, the Phantom of the Opera, and parodies of Freddy Krueger and Hannibal Lecter. Max’s goal is to make his patients feel less like monsters and more like people, although trying to persuade them to let go of their monstrous tendencies proves to be no easy task.

The voice cast includes Modern Family’s Eric Stonestreet as Max, and Frasier’s Kelsey Grammer as his great-grandfather John, who happens to be a vampire. Renowned comedian Patton Oswalt also voices the Invisible Man, and Aparna Nancherla can be heard as Max’s secretary, Nia.

We’ve included the playlist of the entire first season of You’re Not a Monster below, so we suggest you stop what you’re doing right now and watch the entire series. The combined runtime of all twelve episodes comes in at just under one hour, so it won’t take up too much of your time.
