AMERICAN PSYCHO Director Impregnates Anna Sophia Robb’s EMMA
American Psycho director Mary Harron is back and this time she will be directing and co-executive producing a new Quibi horror series called Emma starring Anna Sophia Robb (Soul Surfer).
The show centers on the dark journey of a young woman down on her luck and pregnant under mysterious circumstances. She must deal with the increasingly disturbing effects of her pregnancy, and the potential conspiracy surrounding it.
Dark Castle Entertainment and Propagate are producing this tale of terror with Michael Bay’s Platinum Dunes executive producing with Alex Mace and Hal Sadoff of Dark Castle and Propagate’s Howard Owens, Greg Lipstone, and Rodney Ferrell.

As mentioned above, this new horror series is being produced for Jeffrey Katzenberg and Meg Whitman’s upcoming streaming service Quibi, which gets its name from the “quick bites” of entertainment it will offer. Get it? Got it? Good.
Quibi shows will range from 10 minutes or less and have already snagged top talents such as Alexandre Aja (Crawl), Sam Raimi (The Evil Dead), Blumhouse (every horror movie of the past 10 years), and Guillermo del Toro (The Shape of Water).
Oh, and none other than Steven Spielberg will write a horror series Spielberg’s After Dark that – as strange as it sounds – will only be able to be viewed at night. Cool, right?
Quibi is all set to launch in April 2020.
