Based on Matt Ruff’s novel, this series begins when Atticus Black joins up with his friend Letitia and his Uncle George to embark on a road trip across 1950s Jim Crow America in search of his missing father. Thus begins a struggle to survive and overcome both the racist terrors of white America and the terrifying monsters that could be ripped from a Lovecraft paperback.
It stars Jonathan Majors, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, and Courtney B. Vance along with Aunjanue Ellis, Wunmi Mosaku, Jamie Harris, Michael Kenneth Williams, Erica Tazel, Jamie Chung, Jamie Neumann, Mac Brandt, Abbey Lee, Jordan Patrick Smith, and Tony Goldwyn. Monkeypaw Productions, Bad Robot, and Warner Bros. Television are behind the series which Peele is executive producing along with showrunner Misha Green, Ben Stephenson, Bill Carraro, Yann Demange, Daniel Sackheim, and J.J. Abrams.
There’s no word on exactly when the show will premiere on HBO. But stick with us and we will pass along updates as we hear them.
