While Krasinski returns to write and direct A Quiet Place Part II he will (obviously?) not be returning as an actor. But all is not lost as original stars Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe will return along with newcomers such as Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou.
Meanwhile, the first film followed this synopsis: If they hear you, they hunt you. A family must live in silence to avoid mysterious creatures that hunt by sound. Knowing that even the slightest whisper or footstep can bring death, Evelyn and Lee are determined to find a way to protect their children while desperately searching for a way to fight back.
Directed by John Krasinski from a screenplay written by Bryan Woods, Scott Beck, and Krasinski based on a story by Woods and Beck. Michael Bay produced the original A Quiet Place along with Andrew Form and Brad Fuller and it starred Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe, and Krasinski. Paramount Pictures released it back on April 6, 2018.
Paramount moved A Quiet Place Part II from May 15, 2020, to March 20, 2019.
