Bruce Campbell Volunteers To Be Next Superman
From roles in films such as Sam Raimi’s The Evil Dead and Evil Dead 2 to Don Coscarelli’s Bubba Ho-Tep, Bruce Campbell is basically the Superman of the horror genre. And so it makes sense today that he wants to throw his hat in the ring and bring us our next (geezer) Superman.
Check out his tweet below.
Too bad he’s obviously joking. Right? Right?!

The last time we saw a solo Superman movie on the big screen was in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel. The film begins with the imminent destruction of Krypton, where Jor-El and his wife seek to preserve their race by sending their infant son to Earth. The child’s spacecraft lands at the farm of Jonathan and Martha Kent, who name him Clark and raise him as their own son. Though his extraordinary abilities have led to the adult Clark living on the fringe of society, he finds he must become a hero to save those he loves from a dire threat.
Directed by Zack Snyder (Dawn of the Dead) from a screenplay written by David S. Goyer (Blade) based on a story by Goyer and Christopher Nolan based on Superman created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Nolan produced along with Charles Roven, Emma Thomas, and Deborah Snyder. Warner Bros. Pictures released it back on June 14, 2013.
It starred Henry Cavill as Clark Kent / Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Michael Shannon as General Zod, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Antje Traue as Faora-Ul, Ayelet Zurer as Lara Lor-Van, and Russell Crowe as Jor-El.
